Cheryl Hayes received her M.F.A. from the University of New Orleans and went on to do post graduate studies at Temple University. She recieved a state of Louisiana board of Regents Fellowship and has shown all over the East Coast. She has been associated with Simonne Stern Gallery, the Contemporary Art Center of New Orleans.
