Miranda was curatorial assistant at the Menil Collection and is currently the curator of modern and contemporary art at the New Orleans Museum of Art. She graduated from Williams College with an M.A. in Art History and was named a Clark Fellow. She is currently teaching the contemporary art classes at UNO, and has put together trips for her students to visit the permanent collection at the Menil Museum in Houston Texas.
